Brielmaier Leads Women's Volleyball in, 3-1, Setback Loss at Framingham State

Framingham, Mass.-Rhode Island College senior middle hitter Jessica Brielmaier (West Greenwich, RI) registered a team-high eight kills in a 3-1 loss (25-13, 25-9, 25-15, 25-19) at Framingham State on Saturday afternoon.

• Junior outside hitter Jenaeya Evans (Marietta, GA) had four kills and a team-high 12 digs. 

•Senior setter Jacqueline Jutras (Foster, RI) handed out a team-best 14 assists to go along with four kills, one service ace and five digs.

• Sophomore middle hitter Ashley Normandin (Blackstone, MA) had five kills.

• Junior Libero Samantha Borges (Swansea, MA) had 11 digs.

BY THE NUMBERS

• RIC hit .037 (37-27-126) while Framingham State hit .231 (43-1795)

• The Rams led in total kills (43-34) and digs (61-50).
